★The main bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a full-size bath & shower over. The Juliet balcony overlooks the lovely pool.
★The second bedroom upstairs has twin beds (which can also be made up as a king size -please request at the time of booking) and also has a Juliet balcony overlooking the pool. This bedroom is next to the family shower room.
★The large open plan living area has a dining area with seating for 6 guests. The comfortable sofa bed easily sleeps two extra guests. The living area has a Juliet balcony overlooking the Sierra Nevada mountains and the local countryside.
★There is a separate well-equipped kitchen with high quality fridge-freezer, electric hob, full size oven, washing machine & dishwasher. The well-stocked dresser has plenty of crockery and cutlery to allow for easy self-catering.
★The fabulous roof-top terrace with its traditional barbecue overlooks the lovely pool & gardens and also offers wonderful views of the Sierra Nevada. Furnished with high quality wooden furniture including a table and chairs allowing 6 guests to dine comfortably. There are also sun loungers and a hammock to aid relaxation. A large parasol is provided to shade you from the Andalusian sun. Why not have a barbecue and enjoy the spectacular views of the mountains and the Moorish castle which is illuminated at night.
★ Les Terrazas de Nazari was carefully planned to represent the areas Nasrid history. The outside spaces are beautifully landscaped, with palm and orange trees, fountains and water channels (illuminated at night) giving the atmosphere of Moorish gardens. A very tranquil space in which to relax.
★The gated community pool, fully enclosed for safety has a separate children’s pool and is open from 1000-2200 from 1st May to 1st October. Please respect the Spanish custom of siesta and the quiet hours of 1500-1700. A life guard is on duty during the summer months
★Beach/pool towels are provided.
★Both bedrooms and living area have aircon and beautiful wooden shutters which provide perfect blackout to allow restful sleep
★The well-appointed apartment is furnished with high quality furniture and all beds and bathrooms are supplied with good quality linen and towels.
★The underground parking area has a private allocated space with lift access to the apartment or if you prefer free on street parking is available.
★Please note there are stairs up to the main living area and to the roof terrace therefore B41 may not be suitable for those with walking difficulties.
★Velez de Benaudalla is a traditional white washed Andalusian village with a fascinating Moorish centre and historic natural springs. Although the village is very peaceful (as there is no through traffic) there are choices of traditional tapas bars, restaurants, bakeries & shops, banks (with ATM’s) and a frequent bus service. This is all within (flat) walking distance of the apartment. There is also a small market on a Monday.
★The Nazari gardens are well worth visiting and there is an equestrian establishment close by that offers guided treks along the river.
★Velez de Benaudalla makes an excellent centre for walking and cycling (There is a highly recommended cycle hire centre in the village)
★Granada with its beautiful Alhambra is only 40 minutes away.
★The unspoilt beaches are a 15-minute drive and the traditional villages of the Alpujarra’s are well worth visiting.
★The Sierra Nevada mountains are an hour away.
★The city of Motril is an easy 20-minute drive and has a wide choice of supermarkets as well as a golf course.
★ The hill top village of Salobreña is also only 20 minutes away is well worth a visit!
★ Velez de Benaudalla is a perfect centre for exploring all that the wonderfully unspoilt Costa Tropical has to offer!
You will need a car to travel to Velez de Benaudalla however once settled in you can explore the village on foot. You can try out all the tapas bars with their free tapas without worrying about the need to drive!

Booking Policy Les Terrazas de Nazari (B41) Vélez de Benaudalla • The initial instalment is non-returnable. The second instalment is due no later than 30 days prior to check-in. If no request to cancel has been received then the second instalment remains due for payment. If a request to cancel is made following payment of the second instalment, a refund will only be payable if your dates are rebooked. An administration fee of £50 will be retained. I am happy to provide documentation to support your holiday insurance claim. Your key and damage deposit will automatically be refunded in full if you do not stay. • The owners of Les Terrazas de Nazari (B41) will endeavour to make sure that the stated property is available for the dates contracted. In the unlikely event that the property becomes unavailable and the owner has to cancel the booking, the owner will endeavour to find the holiday maker suitable alternative accommodation. If suitable alternative accommodation cannot be found, the holiday maker will be entitled to a full refund. The owner will only be liable to return the monies received. No compensation or consequential losses shall be paid.
• Smoking is NOT allowed in any areas including the terrace. If my housekeeper reports that the apartment smells of smoke a charge will be made for deep cleaning. ★We would prefer it if smokers did not make a reservation to stay in Les Terrazas de Nazari (B41) and we thank you for your understanding! • People other than those in the agreed guest party may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of the guest. Guests are not allowed to exceed the occupancy limit agreed to. Children are included in the occupancy numbers and therefore should be included in the number of guests booked. • Guests should not create excessive noise at a level that disturbs neighbours. Please bear in mind that a lot of people live in the community and are not just on holiday. Please respect the Spanish tradition of taking a Siesta between 3-5pm especially when using the pool. • All of the units are privately owned: the owners are not responsible for any accidents injuries or illness that occurs whilst on the premises or using its facilities. The owners of Les Terrazas de Nazari (B41) cannot be held responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise. We recommend that guests obtain adequate travel insurance to cover their own personal belongings, illness, accidents and cancellations. • Please remember that this is our home & keep the property and all furnishings in good order. Only use appliances for their intended use. • Pets are NOT allowed. • Parking is limited to designated parking areas only. Please remember that you park at your own risk and the owners of Les Terrazas de Nazari (B41) cannot be held responsible for and loss or damage to or from your vehicle. We recommend that you obtain adequate hire car insurance. • Housekeeping: Please try and leave the apartment clean and tidy. Cleaning products are provided and may be found under the kitchen sink. Linens and towels are included in the rental rate. Please do not remove any linen or towels from the apartment other than beach towels, which should be left in the linen basket at the end of your stay. Any damage to bed linen or towels including staining from suntan lotion, fake tan or hair dye will result in the loss of the replacement value from your key and damage deposit. • Rubbish should be sorted and taken to the wheelie bins to be found just past the entrance to the complex, by the play area or on the left-hand side as you walk up to the Nacimiento. Please recycle paper, plastic, glass, cans and cardboard. You may want to use the white dustbin for your recycling. Please do not leave any rubbish in the apartment. If you do you will be charged. • Water in the apartment is drinkable. There is a 50-litre water tank so please shower economically. The water reheats again within around 15 minutes. Please do not flush anything other than toilet paper, as the Spanish sewer system is rather temperamental. • Please bear in mind that the pool is only guarded during the summer months. The pool is open from 1st May to 1st October and from 1000-2200. Inflatables are not allowed in the pool. • If there is a problem, please report is as soon as possible in order that we may attempt to rectify it, however loss of utilities e.g. water, power, or Wi-Fi may be beyond our control. • Fold the parasol at the end of each day and bring indoors if bad weather is expected. • Do not use the barbeque after rain or in times of high humidity as it may crack. • By booking with Les Terrazas de Nazari (B41) it is assumed that you agree to adhere to this booking policy.

I am a retired midwife and I foster teenagers that are homeless or leaving care. I enjoy caring for pregnant teenagers and often have mother and baby placements. I have been married to Gary , a civil engineer for 33 years. My eldest daughter Lauren is married and is a community midwife who lives and works in Oxfordshire. My youngest daughter Lydia is a sports rehabilitator. She is getting married next year and they will make their home in Wiltshire. We all love to travel!
